Finally in the windy city after leaving a very dreich West London this morning. Got an upgrade on the way over which was very welcome but managed to leave my lovely soft black pashmina which has travelled many miles, in Manchester Airport. Our hotel is on the Magnificent Mile with Max Mara and Filene’s right across the street which is too tempting. Priorities tonight are food and a good sleep.
